A relentless strategist with a multidisciplinary background, Jabari believes that transformational change requires us to lead with our heads and our hearts. Jabari is at his best when he is using his strategic thinking to develop people-oriented processes, research evidence-based practices, create data collection instruments, and present meaningful findings.

An Indianapolis native, Jabari joined Hedges following various roles at the College Mentors for Kids, Ascend Indiana, and Polis Center at the Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis (IUPUI). He combined his love for people and process improvement to enhance programs, improve HR infrastructure, facilitate training sessions, and design new Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion organizational frameworks. He impresses his colleagues with the fact that he’s taught senior-level students quantitative research design and analysis in their capstone course.
Jabari holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision and a minor in Psychology. He is currently completing a Master’s of Science in Technology with a concentration in organizational leadership and a graduate certificate in Human Resources Development. Jabari is a certified Diversity and Inclusion Yellow Belt.
Jabari, with an aspiration of being a high school basketball coach, is an avid sports fan and loves spending his free time volunteering at sports camps. He loves being able to mentor while teaching kids about one of his passions. Jabari is also an avid movie watcher and loves all things psychology.
